Save Energy and Save Money
The cheapest energy is the energy you do not use. That’s why energy efficiency is so important.
By using less energy, Islanders can:
- Save money on bills
- Support a greener, cleaner environment
Rebates and other programs are available to help Islanders make energy-saving upgrades.
There are programs available for everyone - homeowners, landlords, tenants, farms, and businesses.
- Business Energy Rebates and Programs
- Home Insulation Programs
- Heat Pumps
- Rebates for Biomass, Firewood, Wood Pellets
- Winter Warming Program
On April 15, 2026, rebates ended for the following equipment upgrades:
- Air source heat pumps – mini split or central
- Ground source heat pumps
- Hybrid water heaters
- Solar water heaters
- Heat/energy recovery ventilators
- ETS heaters through Summerside Electric Heat for Less Now! program
If you bought eligible equipment between April 15, 2025, and April 15, 2026, apply for a rebate.
You have one year from the purchase date to apply.
