Beaujolais Nouveau wines arrive in PEI Liquor retail outlets

PEI Liquor is pleased to announce that three Nouveau wines will be available in stores in November 2016. Customers will find three Beaujolais Nouveau wines in stores starting this morning, Thursday, November 17.

The production of Beaujolais Nouveau wines began as a tradition in France’s Beaujolais region when local wine makers developed a quick maturing wine to enjoy with workers while celebrating the completion of the grape harvest.

The annual release of Beaujolais Nouveau wines has become an international event with these products now accounting for more than one third of the worldwide wine sales from France’s Beaujolais region.

The Beaujolais Nouveau wines released today are:

• 00134Y Momessin Beaujolais Nouveau - $17.29

• 00212Y Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau - $18.80

• 00133Y Drouhin Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau - $19.99

Due to the limited availability of these wines, not all listings will be available in each store. PEI Liquor has ensured that each of its 18 corporate retail outlets will carry at least one of these offerings and encourages interested customers to shop early to avoid disappointment.
