Guidelines for Housing Seasonal Agricultural Workers

Publication type:
Guidelines

Environmental Health applies accommodation guidelines (regarding structure, sleeping facilities, water supply, toilet facilities and sewage disposal, food, garbage control, maintenance, and safety) to the housing of seasonal workers. Employers are required to prepare the accommodation and then request an inspection by PEI Environmental Health (using the form titled Request for Inspection of Seasonal Agricultural Worker Accommodations). The accommodation must pass inspection before any worker can move in.
