Housing Action Plan 2018-2023 Final Report

Highlights include:

• over 1,300 affordable housing units created through mobile rental vouchers, rent supplements and increasing government owned social housing units;
• completing a Community Needs Assessment on Emergency Shelters and increased emergency shelter bed capacity by approximately 70 beds;
• expanding the PEI Home Renovation Program to increase the maximum grant amount and launched new programs to improve energy efficiency of homes; and
• a new Residential Tenancy Act.
