
Apply for an Electrical Contractor’s Licence
You must be a licensed electrical contractor in order to perform any electrical work in PEI. To qualify for an Electrical Contractor’s Licence you must be a certified electrician and have at least two years’ experience working as a certified electrician. In addition, you may be required to write an exam. For information, refer to Part 2, page 6 of the Electrical Inspection Act Regulations.
