A development permit specifies how land will be used, how the structure is located on the land, how the structure is to be serviced for water and sewer and highway access, as well as, any potential impacts from proposed development or construction. This service allows municipalities, that have adopted an official plan and bylaws, to add or update planning decisions relating to their subdivisions and development applications. All planning decisions can be reviewed at PEI Planning Decisions.
