The PEI government is encouraging business and community organizations across the province to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations targeted for business and public use. Personalized license plates (also known as vanity plates) are available for passenger vehicles registered in PEI, this includes motorcycles. A personalized plate will be issued by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles providing that the proposed message (made up of numbers or slogan) meets approved criteria and does not conflict with a pre-existing plate or series. Prince Edward Island has a 5-year motor vehicle driver's license. All PEI residents are required to renew their driver’s license on or before the expiry date shown on their current license. Rather than wait until the last minute, you can renew your license up to 5 months before your card expires.
