Non-profit groups creating an opportunity to experience PEI’s heritage, culture, and cuisine can apply for up to $2500 financial assistance to attract visitors to festivals or events.

What do we need in order to apply for funding?

The festival or event must clearly and specifically target participants and spectators and align with the priorities of the PEI Culture Action Plan. The festival or event should reflect a quality PEI cultural experience and be environmentally sensitive.

  • a pre-established budget including proposed revenues and expenses with all funding resources and requests; 
  • financial statements of the event from previous year(s);
  • sponsorship and marketing plans; and
  • COVID-19 Operational Plan and a viability plan that addresses the information listed here.
