Apply for Family Housing Online

This is an online request for a family housing unit in Alberton, Charlottetown, Georgetown, Montague, Mount Stewart, O’Leary, Souris, Summerside or Tignish. If available, housing units are offered to families with low income, poor housing conditions or other special circumstances. 

What do I need to complete this application online?

You will need to provide your current contact information and your PEI Health Card number on this application. 

How long does it take to complete this application?

You should be able to complete this application in about 15 minutes. 

What will happen after I apply?

Once your application is received, someone will contact you to schedule an appointment with you. 

Is there anything else I should know before I apply for housing?

If a unit is available for your family, you will be responsible for paying for heat and utilities. In some cases, monthly rent may be reduced to assist with heating costs.

You are expected to use your own furniture and have tenant's insurance coverage.

Housing Services staff reviews all applications and considers the present housing conditions, income, housing expenditures, family size, health, and any special circumstances for each applicant.
