Program Closed

As of February 21, 2025, the budget for this program has been fully committed and the program is now closed. 

Is my project eligible for funding?

Projects must meet the following criteria:

• Applicant is the property owner;
• Property is not connected to centralized or municipal water and sewer;
• Roadway access to the property does not exist or needs to be upgraded (paving is not included);
• Construction on the project has not started;
• The property must have been owned by the applicant for at least one year prior to application; and 
• The program will only be available for developments for year round residency.

What do I need to apply for the Building Acceleration Grant?

You will be asked to provide the following information:

• Name(s) of property owners;
• Name(s) of any partners or shareholders;
• Property details including civic address and property ID number (PID);

You will also need to provide the following documents:

• Development permit;
• Approved survey or subdivision plan;
• List of the estimated costs; and
• Road approval;
