Apply for Visitor Information Centre Student Jobs

Post-secondary students can now apply for Vacation Planner positions to staff Visitor Information Centres during the 2020 season. The expected hourly rate is between $14.24 and $15.41.

Who can apply?

For the purpose of this competition, applicants must be full-time (minimum of three courses) post-secondary, university or college students, with at least one year completed by summer 2020, and with intention to continue his/her education in the fall of 2020.

Duties involve providing visitors with an information service and promoting Prince Edward Island as the destination of choice. Applicants should be friendly, outgoing, mature and enjoy working with the public. Bilingualism and knowledge of Prince Edward Island's diverse tourism products are definite assets.

What do I need to apply?

Persons wishing to compete for the 2020 Summer Student Vacation Planner positions MUST complete the Summer Student Vacation Planner application by March 16. No other application will be valid.
