Apply for a Learn Grant
The Learning Partners Advisory Council wants to help support ideas and collaborations to promote learning in PEI, for all ages, in all settings. Please tell us about your ideas and projects.
Learning happens in many settings – we live in a lifelong learning society. Learn Grants are intended to support any PEI-based collaborations or project focused on learning – in all fields, across the life span, and across PEI communities.
Grants will be $500 to $1,000 for each project. $10,000 will be awarded in total, supporting 10 to 20 different projects.
What information should I provide about the Learn idea or project?
Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria. Please clearly outline each of the following:
- Idea (30%): Describe your project and how it will contribute to or expand ideas about learning in PEI.
- Achievability: (30%): Include an action plan, timeline, and outline of partners who will work on the project, as well as the amount requested ($500 - $1,000).
- Impact (30%): Outline the short-term and long-term benefits of the project, for people and communities in PEI, how it connects to / supports other projects, and how it will be measured.
- Additional information (10%): Strengthen your application by ensuring your project is clear and viable, and by outlining examples of how the project will invite new partners and people to PEI learning initiatives, and/or create new and meaningful learning opportunities.
Although not required, applicants may upload additional documents.
