Apply Online for Out-of-Province Travel Support

If you require medical services in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia, you may qualify for cost assistance to travel with Maritime Bus.

Do I qualify for travel assistance?

Depending on your household income, if you hold a valid PEI Health Card, received approval from Health PEI for your out-of-province services and have not received travel support from a non-government source, you may qualify. More information is available at Out-of-Province Travel Support Program.

What documents do I need to apply for travel assistance?

You will need your current Canada Revenue Agency Notice of Assessment(s) and your PEI Health Card. You must apply at least 10 days prior to out-of-province travel.

What if I have to make multiple trips?

If you are required to make multiple trips, verification of this would be required.

How long will it take to complete the application?

It will take you approximately 20 minutes to complete the application, which must be done in one sitting. You cannot save this form.
