Family Home Centre Training and Operational Grants
Funding has been provided in the form of grants to assist family home operators to develop and strengthen their credentials to ensure they have the necessary first aid and food safety courses required to care for children.
Family Home Centre Operational Requirement Grants.
Additionally, child care providers of Family Home Centres are eligible to apply for the Family Home Centre Operational Requirement Grants. Caregivers must complete an emergency child care first aid and CPR course, and a food safety course if providing meals or snacks to children in their care.
First Aid, CPR and Food Safety
Additionally, Family Home Centre operators are eligible for the following training grants:
- Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR – up to $100
- Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR – up to $100
- Food Safety Course – up to $100
How do I apply?
To apply for the Family Home Centre Operational Requirement Grants, download and submit a completed PDF form (in person, by mail, email or fax).
The deadline is March 1, 2019 for courses taken prior to March 31, 2019, however, applications can be submitted at any time.
