Give your input to housing needs on PEI

Housing is an important support in order for individuals and families to be healthy and productive citizens. It is not just about buildings, but rather a basic support that contributes to personal well being, economic strength, and strong communities.

Government is developing a provincial housing strategy to determine current and future housing related needs.

The survey is now closed. Thank you for your input.

Give your input

Government wants to hear from all Islanders about personal experiences with appropriate, accessible and affordable housing in PEI.

What has been done to-date toward a housing strategy for PEI?

Earlier this fall, government assembled a co-development team of housing experts and clients to help create the housing strategy. A housing supply task force was also established to inform the work of this team and identify innovative approaches to address housing challenges across the province.

How will my feedback be used?

Public input will be reflected in a PEI Housing Strategy, which is to be completed by spring 2018. Survey responses are confidential and anonymous.

Personal information on this survey is collected under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act  of PEI, Section 31(c) as it relates directly to, and is necessary public input to the development of a housing strategy for Prince Edward Island.
