Prince County Hospital Nutrition Services has a cook chill food system for meal service that was installed upon the opening of PCH in 2004. Current blast chiller are in need if replacement. The chillers are used daily (6-8 hours)to bring the temperatures of cooked food down quickly to a safe temperature which increases the refrigeration shelf life of the items. This tenders objective is to provide new equipment to satisfy our Blast Chiller requirements to support Nurtition Services provide safe, quality prepared meals to patients and staff.
