French Language Services
French Language Services offers courses at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, with the addition of maintenance and grammar courses for bilingual employees. The training is available to classified and casual civil service employees, including employees of the health sector. Classes are generally held one night per week for a total of 11 weeks per semester in Charlottetown and Summerside. Other locations such as Montague and Deblois are possible where minimum registration requirements are met.
Diversity and Cultural Training
The PEI Public Service Commission developed a diversity awareness training series to meet the needs of an increasing diverse workforce and Island population. This training is intended to increase the understanding of diversity by identifying and clarifying definitions of diversity and diversity related key terms. There are five (5) training modules currently available, with all five (5) modules developed for PEI public service managers and employees.
Occupational Health and Safety
