Student Accommodation and Custodian Information for the Prince Edward Island International Student Program (PEIISP)
A valid fixed address in Prince Edward Island is necessary to enroll in the provincial education system. International students coming to PEI to study must secure accommodations prior to arriving in the province. The PEI International Student Program does not arrange accommodations/homestay or provide custodians for international students.

Custodian: All international students coming to study in Prince Edward Island public schools, without a parent, must have a custodian to make the necessary arrangements for the care and support of the student in place of their parents. Families are responsible for making their own arrangements or ask assistance from their homestay service provider.
Students attending elementary school (K-6) must live with a parent. No other custodianship is required, unless requested by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
