Voluntary Teaching Days

Voluntary Teaching Day: Pre-registration Required - see your teacher for details

Subject:   Review of core skills in Forestry, Aquatics, Soils and Wildlife
Location:  Beach Grove Forest Office & Charlottetown Rural ponds (Aquatics Only)
Date and Time:   08:30 - 14:00 Friday October 11, 2019

* At this point it has not been determined if there will be a teaching session on Water Resources - stay tuned! If so it will be Saturday morning October 19, 2019.

2020 Competition - Testing Days

Registration fee: $300/team
Subject: Field tests for Forestry, Soils, Aquatics and Wildlife
Location:  Brookvale Nordic Centre
Date and time: Friday October 25, 2019 from 8:30 to 12:00  

Please Bring:

  1. Signed Consent and Rues forms for each student
  2. $300/team
  3. Lunch (on your own) for noon 
  4. Overnight clothing, sleeping bag,,personal toiletries etc

Subject: 2020 Challenge and Presentations **
Location: Camp Keir - Canoe Cove 
Date and Time:  

  • Friday, October 25, 2019 from 13:00 to 22:00  Challenge given to students and time to prepare.
    • supper provided
  • Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 07:30 to 12:00 Teams offer their solutions
    • breakfast provided
    • Lunch provided
  • End with Cam Keir clean up around 13:00 - 13:30 
** For 2020 each team is required to have one laptop with PowerPoint to develop and present their solution to the 2020 Challenge. Please note there is No WIFI at the camp so web based software such as Google Docs may not work)
