Clinical Services
The Clinical Services Team is a provincial resource providing assessment and treatment services to youth and adults involved in the criminal justice system. The Clinical Services team provides individual and group treatment programs, training, consultation and individual counselling.
What services do we provide?
Clinical Services offers group treatment programs and one to one interventions for youth and adults to assist, support and treat individuals and families experiencing significant personal difficulties associated with criminal behaviour, and high risk behaviour directed toward self or others.
More specifically, the services provided include assessment and treatment in the areas of youth mental health, anger management (emotion regulation), sexual deviancy, intimate partner violence and Indigenous support services.
What is the referral process?
Referrals are accepted for youth and adults who are involved in the criminal justice system as a result of committing a criminal offence. These individuals are referred by Probation Services, and Youth Justice Services. A person may self-refer for Turning Point and Sexual Deviancy and referrals are also accepted from other community agencies for these programs.
