Financial Support for Non-Government Organizations
Applications for this Program closed on July 15, 2022.
PEI charities and non-profit organizations who provide services to clients in the social sector may be eligible for funding to help with the rising costs of fuel and food. Financial Support for Non-Government Organizations will provide eligible organizations a one-time grant to help cover some of the additional, un-budgeted operational expenses such as utilities, fuel and food.
What level of grant is available?
A maximum grant of $10,000 is available. Lesser amounts may be granted based on the size of the organization or the needs described in the application.
Is my organization eligible for this grant?
Any charity or non-profit organization registered to operate in PEI who provides services to clients in the social sector and is impacted by recent rising costs is eligible to apply for assistance.
What can my organization receive assistance for?

Stream 1 - Increased Operating Costs

Stream 2 - Increased Costs of Assistance Provided to Clients
You can also apply for up to $5,000 of assistance for increased costs of payments your organization provides directly to clients to pay for their costs for utilities, fuel or food.
