How to claim your COVID-19 Wage Rebate for Impacted Industries

Innovation PEI must receive the request for payment not later than April 25, 2022.
NOTE: All wages must be paid prior to submitting your request for payment.
Before submitting a request for payment, please ensure you have:
- An electronic copy of your processed payroll detail report for the period of January 19-30, 2022 for the employee(s) being claimed;
- Electronic copy of a void cheque listing the business’s banking information;
- A downloaded and completed Employee Summary Wage Form found at the bottom of this page; and
- All supporting documents are saved to your computer.
Make your claim
Step 1:
Download, complete and save the Employee Summary Wage Form Spreadsheet.
- On the spreadsheet, enter all required information per each eligible employee. * The maximum wage per employee is $25.00/hour.
- If you are claiming 20 or less employees, download and complete this form.
- If you are claiming more than 21 to 40 employees, download and complete this form.
Step 2:
Address an email to the contact person identified in your notification letter. Attach the following:
- Employee Summary Wage Form Spreadsheet;
- Electronic copy of your processed payroll detail report; and
- Electronic copy of a void cheque listing the business’s banking information.
Reminder
- Have all requested documents saved on your computer.
- If using a cell phone, please ensure images are clear and legible. IPEI staff must be able to verify the information.
