Premier Thompson confirms Santa’s Arrival Plans
Hon. Bloyce Thompson, Premier of Prince Edward Island, issued the following statement after speaking with Santa Claus ahead of his Christmas Eve travels:
“Earlier this morning, I spoke with Santa Claus as he prepared for Christmas Eve.
Santa shared that during a test flight overnight, one of the reindeer needed some attention, which led to a stop at a local farm. Island farmers were quick to lend a hand and help get everything back on track.
He expressed his gratitude to farmers across Prince Edward Island for the work they do every day, especially after a challenging growing season, and said he’s hopeful the year ahead will be a stronger one.
He also asked me to pass along his thanks for the cookies and milk left out in Island homes each Christmas, and mentioned that ADL milk is his favourite.
As Santa begins his journey, I want to wish all Islanders a very Merry Christmas. May the season bring time with loved ones and moments of joy.”
