Waste Watch Collection Days

Enter your address below for the pick-up schedule for waste, compost, and blue bags in your area.

1. Type your street number and only the street name in the search box, example: 575 Main for 575 Main Street

2. Select the correct address from the drop-down list that displays. More than one address may appear.

3. Click the Search button.

To confirm your collection zone, go to Waste Watch Collection Map. 

To bookmark your collection days information, click the Bookmark URL link that appears in the search results and save that page to your bookmarks.

Note: This online service provides collection dates only. If you have experienced an issue related to collection, please contact Island Waste Management's Customer Service Centre directly. Representatives can be reached toll-free at 1-888-280-8111 or by emailing info@iwmc.pe.ca.

The Centre is open Monday through Friday from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M.

Spring Clean Up

Waste cleanup will take place on your regularly scheduled waste (black cart) collection days during the month of May. Waste items being collected must still be placed curbside by 7 A.M. to ensure collection.

Capital and West Prince

  • Yard Debris - 4 May, 2026
  • Waste - Put waste items next to your waste cart on your normal collection day during May.
  • Yard Debris - 18 May, 2026

Eastern, Central, and East Prince

  • Yard Debris - 4 May, 2026
  • Waste - Put waste items next to your waste cart on your normal collection day during May.
  • Yard Debris - 18 May, 2026

 

Note: For compost and yard debris cleanup, please use open rigid containers with an external handle or paper bags. Please note yard debris (compost) will not be collected in plastic bags.

Cottage Collection

June 1 to September 25, 2026

Note: Extended Cottage Collection is available from May 18 to October 30 and a fee will apply, please contact IWMC to register.

Christmas Tree Collection

January 5, 2026

Christmas trees must be placed curbside for collection prior to 7 AM on Monday, January 5th. Collection drivers have the entirety of the week to collect. If your tree is not collected by Tuesday, January 13th - please contact IWMC. *Trees must be completely bare (no decorations) and accessible for drivers to collect.
