Public Libraries - Locations and Hours

The PEI Public Library Service has 25 public libraries across the province. Your PEI Public Library Card can be used at any of our locations:

Confederation Centre Public Library (Charlottetown)

The Confederation Centre Public Library will be closed April 30th to July 3rd to pack and prepare for the move to its new location - the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre - in the Dominion Building on Queen Street. Any items checked out of the library will be due after July 4th. Library holds will not be available for pickup at the library during its closure. Library items may be returned to any public library in PEI. The public is also welcome to visit and use nearby libraries such as: Bibliothèque publique Dr.-J.-Edmond-Arsenault (Charlottetown), Cornwall, Stratford and Hunter River.

The Morell Public Library will be closed May 19th - with a tentative re-opening date of May 31st for renovations. Due dates and holds will be extended until the library reopens. The public is welcome to visit and use nearby libraries such as Mount Stewart and St. Peters while the library is closed.
