Potential COVID-19 Exposures

The Chief Public Health Office is advising of potential exposure to COVID-19 at the locations noted below. Please carefully review the dates, times, places as well as the requirement provided.

Friday, September 17

  • Lawton’s Drug Friendly’s, Boardwalk Professional Centre (220 Water Street, Charlottetown) from 10:30 am to 11:00 am
  • Lawton’s Drugs Sherwood Centre (100-161 St. Peters Road, Charlottetown) from 11:00 am to 11:30 am    
  • Tim Hortons (147 St. Peters Road, Charlottetown) between 11:15 am and 12:00 pm

Tuesday, September 7

  • Dairy Queen Grill & Chill (365 University Avenue) between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm
Individuals at the potential exposure sites during the specified times who are not fully vaccinated should get tested for COVID-19 and self-isolate until the results come back. Continue to monitor for symptoms for 14 days after the potential exposure, even after receiving an initial negative test result. If symptoms present, get re-tested.  

    
Individuals at the potential exposure sites at the specified times who are fully vaccinated (fully vaccinated means 14 days after receiving the second dose of an approved vaccine) should closely monitor for symptoms and if they become symptomatic, immediately get tested for COVID-19 and self-isolate until the results come back.
