Residential Services Program
What is the Residential Services Program?
The Residential Services Program supports Islanders 18 and older living with intellectual disabilities or Autism in connecting them to supports in their community, including day programs, skill development, and residential services.
The program provides funding for community partners to offer a variety of residential options which support clients’ unique needs, allow them to be active members of their communities, and live as independently as possible.
Through work with community partners, the Residential Services Program seeks to increase inclusivity, citizenship, and active participation of people living with intellectual disabilities or Autism in all aspects of community life in PEI.
To access Residential Services, individuals must meet the eligibility criteria for, and be a client of, the AcessAbility Supports Program.
What type of residential services are a part of the program?

- Independent living supports/supported apartments
- Associate Family placements
