Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program

As of April 2013, the Government of Canada began offering Canada Student Loan forgiveness to eligible family physicians, family medicine residents, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and licensed practical nurses who work in under-served rural or remote communities.
Loan forgiveness can only be applied to outstanding Canada Student Loan balances (federal portion only).
