Premier confirms PEI ready for Santa

Premier Dennis King has spoken with Santa, reassuring him that Prince Edward Island is ready for his arrival and to celebrate the holiday season. 

“I have spoken with Santa to let him know that he has been cleared to fly over Prince Edward Island this evening and land on rooftops as he carries out his Christmas duties. I also let him know that Minister of Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy Steven Myers has his team ready to assist with any deicing and snow removal that Santa may require in order to safely travel to Island households. 

I wish Santa and all Islanders a very safe and happy holiday season. Merry Christmas, everyone!”
