Nominations open for 2026 Heritage Awards
Islanders are invited to submit nominations for the 2026 Heritage Awards.
Each year, the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation presents Heritage Awards from a variety of categories to Islanders who work to protect, share, and promote the province’s history. The awards recognize volunteers, community groups, and professionals who make an impact through meaningful activities, research, storytelling, and more.
“The Island’s story is preserved and shared by so many passionate people who give their time and energy to keeping our history alive. The heritage awards are our chance to celebrate these amazing individuals and groups. If you know someone in your community who is making a difference by preserving our heritage, we’d love to see their name put forward.”
-Matthew McRae, executive director, PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation
Nominations are open until November 28, 2025.
