This report summarizes the outcomes of a pilot sea lettuce harvest project conducted in Prince Edward Island, Canada during the summer of 2011.

The Commission on Land and Local Governance was appointed by the provincial government to inquire into land use and local governance issues, and to recommend new approaches where warranted.

This resource guide is the result of collaboration between Child Protection Services and Prince Edward Island’s First Nations. The guide is intended to be a beginning point for engagement and continued learning.
