This report focuses on the role of Hillsborough Hospital as a provincial resource delivering specialty inpatient mental health services within an integrated continuum of care.

The Medical Staff Bylaws are intended to promote consistency across the province where required by legislation or ministerial direction, while providing flexibility in organizational structural issues so Health PEI can address individual facility circumstances and needs.

The focus of this report is to assess the current state and make recommendations to improve physician engagement in mental health and addictions.
