Public Engagement Process
Islanders' experiences and thoughts about poverty were gathered throughout the spring of 2018 as part of a public engagement process to help develop a collaborative, province-wide poverty reduction action plan. Activities included:
- Public survey
- Service provider survey
- Small group conversations with people with lived experience and service providers
- Community conversations that were open to the public
How was input used?
The ideas and feedback of individuals, families and communities gathered during the public engagement process informed the action plan.
