Spring weight restrictions partially lifted

As of today, spring weight restrictions are lifted for roads east of the Slemon Park roundabout.
Weight restrictions will remain in place on roads west of the Slemon park roundabout until further notice.
Weight restrictions help to reduce damage – and preserve the province’s investment in – Prince Edward Island’s highway network. The department appreciates the cooperation of the trucking industry in complying with weight restrictions and road postings.
