The Executive Council Office is a department of the government of Prince Edward Island responsible for supporting the Premier and Executive Council, also known as Cabinet. The Executive Council Office provides administrative services for Executive Council, the Policy Review Committee and the Cabinet Committee on Priorities. Some of the priorities are to:
- ensure that the Province's interests are represented in international, national and regional discussions;
- support the Minister Responsible for Acadian and Francophone Affairs and the Minister Responsible for Aboriginal Affairs;
- provide strategic communications planning and departmental communications across government; and
- administer Engage PEI, a program providing for public application and appointment to various agencies, boards and commissions of the provincial government.
