In September 2011 at the Annual General Meeting of the Prince Edward Island (PEI) Medical Society, the Society passed a resolution asking for a retrospective epidemiological review of suicides in PEI.

This is the first edition of a statistical description of women’s lives and work in Prince Edward Island. It is intended to provide a profile of women’s participation in education, business, government, and other aspects of community life. (1996)

The 5^th edition of the Annual Statistical Review gathered data from provincial government departments, the private sector and Statistics Canada to provide a socio-economic snapshot of Prince Edward Island in 1978.

The Prince Edward Island Poverty Elimination Strategy Act was enacted in May 2021. This report lists indicators set out by the Act to be reported on and baseline data related to those indicators.
