"A focus on the future: education improvement in Prince Edward Island" is a report by Michael Fullan and Mary Jean Gallagher on successes and challenges in the PEI education system, along with recommendations for improving K-12 education in the province. 

In November 2015 Prince Edward Island joined the Office of Regulatory Affairs and Service Effectiveness and entered into a joint burden reduction partnership with Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
