Construction on Route 218 in Blooming Point

Crews are replacing a pipe near Wild Rose Lane on Blooming Point Road.

Dates: 

Monday, February 16 to April, with paving occurring in June. 

Traffic: 

  • Traffic will be down to one lane, and traffic control personnel will run stop-and-go alternating traffic.
  • When crews are not on site, drivers should follow signs and yield to oncoming traffic.

Safety: 

  • Reduce speed and be prepared to stop.
  • Plan extra time to reach your destination.
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
