An individual or company that wants to apply a commercial class pesticide must obtain a pesticide applicator certificate.

Some pesticides or uses of pesticides require a pesticide application permit in addition to a pesticide applicator certificate.

Any business that is licenced to sell pesticides must employ staff that have a pesticide vendor certificate.

Non-domestic vendor business licence is required if the store sells commercial, restricted or manufacturing class pesticides. 

Anyone that wants to buy a commercial, restricted or manufacturing class pesticide must first obtain a pesticide purchase permit. 

Companies that wish to apply a commercial class pesticide to client properties must have a pesticide application business licence.  Pesticide application business licences are specific to the type of pesticides your business uses.

To obtain a pesticide loader/mixer certificate, you must be 18 years of age and complete a one-day training program. A suitable training program is offered by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
