Information and criteria for the 2026 Prince Edward Island Book Awards.

The Municipal Elector Officer must publish the Notice of Election which can be modified for a By-Election in at least one print format (e.g. posters, newspaper, or newsletter) and one electronic format (e.g. website, social media, e-newsletter). Additionally, this notice shall be posted at the election office and the municipal office. 

The notice must contain information on:

• wards for which an election shall be held (if applicable)
• the location and hours of the advance poll
• the location and hours of the polling stations on election day
• the type and number of identification documents that are required of electors/voters at the voting stations
