The Early Childhood Coaching team provides support to licensed Early Learning and Child Care Centres. The team works with directors and educators to support ongoing growth and learning in relation to the Early Learning Framework (ELF) and the Assessment for Quality Improvement (AQI).

The Manager of Early Learning and Child Care Quality and Early Childhood Coaches:

  • support directors, educators, administrators and owner/operators of centres to enhance learning environments and provide training and mentoring.
  • encourages increased quality in early learning programs;
  • enhances the level of integration of children with special needs; and
  • encourages a community of learning within the early childhood sector.

Who can request support from the team?

Designated Early Years Centres are required to engage with the Early Childhood Coaching team. All other licensed early learning and child care programs may request assistance from the Early Childhood team, including preschool centres and family home centres.
