**Despite increased COVID-19 testing volumes, data reflects a decrease in overall requests due to the following pandemic related factors:

1) decreased hospital capacity resulting in less inpatient orders,

2) outpatient collections limited to transplant, renal, and cancer care patients (i.e. no routine bloodwork), and

3) reduced physician office visits leading to less offsite requests.
