PEI’s new Senator – Chief Brian Francis

The Government of Prince Edward Island would like to congratulate Chief Brian Francis on his appointment to the Senate. Chief Francis has been a great leader for the Abegweit First Nation for over a decade. His commitment to reconciliation for the well-being and prosperity of the Indigenous community of PEI has made a lasting impact for our province. We are confident that, as PEI’s newest Senator, his voice will well represent the Mi'kmaq of PEI and Islanders alike.
