Petroleum pricing September 8, 2017

The following is distributed at the request of the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission.
The Commission had previously advised that it would be meeting today to consider the necessity of additional petroleum product price adjustments. Upon review, the Commission has determined that there will be no change in prices at this time.

Gasoline prices across the entire region have risen dramatically in recent days as can be seen from the following September 8 pricing survey:

  • Charlottetown            120.6
  • Moncton                     123.3
  • Fredericton                123.0
  • Halifax                       123.4
  • New Glasgow              124.6
  • St. Johns                    139.0

The Commission will monitor prices daily. The next scheduled price adjustment will be on September 15, 2017.
