Premier Rob Lantz announces changes to Cabinet
Premier Rob Lantz announced changes to the Provincial Cabinet today, bringing new leadership to the housing portfolio.
The following individual was given new ministerial responsibilities this morning during a ceremony at Government House:
- Hon. Cory Deagle, Minister of Housing, Land and Communities.

He joins the following ministers remaining in their portfolios:
- Hon. Bloyce Thompson, Deputy Premier, Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Justice and Public Safety, and Attorney General;
- Hon. Darlene Compton, Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Trade;
- Hon. Ernie Hudson, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure;
- Hon. Mark McLane, Minister of Health and Wellness;
- Hon. Jill Burridge, Minister of Finance;
- Hon. Barb Ramsay, Minister of Social Development and Seniors;
- Hon. Gilles Arsenault, Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Action;
- Hon. Jenn Redmond, of Workforce, Advanced Learning and Population;
- Hon. Zack Bell, Minister of Fisheries, Tourism, Sport and Culture; and
- Hon. Robin Croucher, Minister of Education and Early Years.
Steven Myers, MLA for Georgetown— St. Peter’s, resigned his cabinet portfolio and seat in the Legislative Assembly on October 3, 2025.
