Prince Edward Island recognizes Early Childhood Educator Week

Early Childhood Educator Week, February 5-9, recognizes the integral role that early childhood educators play in the development of children's intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth.
“Early childhood educators help create a strong foundation for our children to grow and learn. I admire their creativity in building spaces where children feel safe and inspired, and their ability to nurture individual development to ensure all children can succeed.”
- Education and Early Years Minister Natalie Jameson

“These educators have a lasting positive impact on our children’s lives, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to this incredible group. I hope families across the Island join me in showing continued appreciation to them, not just this week, but throughout the year,” Minister Jameson said.
