Statement by Premier Lantz on the by-elections for the districts of Charlottetown—Hillsborough Park and Brackley—Hunter River

Hon. Rob Lantz, Premier of Prince Edward Island, issued the following statement on the by-elections for the districts Charlottetown—Hillsborough Park and Brackley—Hunter River:

“This morning, Cabinet passed an order in council to allow Elections PEI to issue the writ of election for the District 9 and District 15 By-Elections. The order is effective today, which means that residents of Charlottetown—Hillsborough Park and Brackley—Hunter River will be heading to the polls on August 11^th, 2025.

I would like to wish all candidates the best of luck over the next 26 days.”
