Construction continues on the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) extension.  Two lanes of traffic will be maintained during the morning and evening commutes (eastbound from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and westbound from 4 to 5:30 p.m.).

Work for this week includes;

  • paving the active transportation trail;
  • landscaping and hydroseeding;
  • installing guardrail; and
  • painting and installing pavement markings.

Drivers are advised to watch for directional signs as signs will  change from time to time throughout the construction period. Drivers are also asked to be alert and aware forr the safety of workers, pedestrians and their fellow motorists.
