About the Victim Services Advisory Committee

The purpose of this committee is to consult with the Minister in an effort to help and protect those that have been victimized by crime, to review existing policies, procedures and laws including the Victims of Crime Act and to recommend changes to benefit victims.
Who serves on the advisory board?
The board is comprised of government and community organizations outlined in the Victims of Crime Act, including community members. Community members are appointed from among individuals who apply through Engage PEI.
