Municipal Affairs - What we do
The Municipal Affairs Division
- is the primary contact between the Government of Prince Edward Island, municipalities, and municipal interest groups.
- provides support to municipalities in the following areas: governance, elections, administration and management, municipal financials, and restructuring.
- collects and maintains information regarding municipal bylaws, financial audits and plans, elections, and a range of other municipal processes.
- provides funding through the PEI Municipal Funding Framework.
